In 1976, two young automotive parts guys had the dream of owning their own business and calling the shots. In spite of limited assets, Chuck Zinck and Ron Clarke had a good reputation within the automotive car parts industry and formed a business partnership to launch C & R Auto Supply Ltd. With hard work and lots of laughs, the two were able to rapidly grow the business.

C & R Auto Supply has undergone many transformations since its launch. Upon Chuck Zinck's early retirement and, sadly, his much too early passing, Ron Clarke continued to manage the business. He wore many hats over the years.

Ron's son, James, joined C & R Auto Supply in 1995. Since then, he’s become a well-respected and knowledgeable automotive industry specialist. Today, James Clarke is the company’s general manager and go-to guy for all automotive parts inquiries. Ron Clarke is still involved in the day-to-day operations, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery to the company’s corporate customers and acting as the company’s finance and marketing consultant.

To this day, C & R Auto Supply is independently owned and operated. The company also fosters a collaborative corporate relationship with Vast-Auto Distribution Atlantic under the Auto Value logo which enables it to provide customers with quality and competitively priced products.
